Tokyo, 03 Sep (HS): Japan is experiencing record-high temperatures, which are likely to break records of over 125 years. A rise of
1.7 degrees was recorded between June and August. According to the newspaper, Japan
Today, the maximum temperature since 1898 was recorded in 2023. The temperature
this year has already reached 41 degrees.
Japan’s Meteorological Agency said that temperature
above 35 degrees is considered very high. Between June and August, many places
recorded temperatures above 40 degrees. On July 29, Tochigi region registered a
temperature of 41 degrees. Japan is not likely to be relieved from the heat
even in September this year.
