Sept 29 (HS): Four workers were killed and one critically injured after a glass
shipment collapsed on them when they were unloading it from a van at a glass
production business in Pune, Maharashtra, on Sunday, according to officials.
The incident occurred at a facility in Yevlewadi, Katraj, at approximately 1.30
p.m., they added.
We
received a call that five to six workers were stuck while unloading glass goods
at a glass production business in the Katraj area of district. According to a
fire official, a team of firefighters were on the scene. Firefighters rescued
five injured workers and transported them to a nearby hospital. However, four
of them died, and one is being treated at a hospital, he added.
