New Delhi, September 16 (HS): Prof. Mahesh Verma, Vice Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi was awarded a certificate of appreciation by the General Assembly of the FDI World Dental Federation held in Istanbul, Turkey on Sunday.

He has been given this certificate of appreciation for his outstanding and significant contribution as a member of the FDI Science Committee.

A global name in the field of dental science, Dr. Verma is also Professor Emeritus at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi. He is also the President of the International Association of Dental Research (India) and Vice President of the World Dental Association of Geneva, Switzerland and Vice President of the Science Committee representing India. He has also received several other national and international awards including the prestigious Dr BC Roy Award in the field of dentistry.
