Gandhinagar, September 16 (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India is trying to become a global leader in the field of green hydrogen.

For this, India has launched a Green Hydrogen Mission of ₹20,000 crore. A huge campaign of waste to energy is going on in the country. Circular approach is being promoted to identify challenges related to critical minerals. Startups are being supported for better technology related to reuse and recycling. Prime Minister Modi was addressing after inaugurating the fourth Global Re-Invest Renewable Energy Investors Summit at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on Monday. Prime Minister Modi said that India has connected hundreds of countries of the world by trying the International Solar Alliance. India has also set a target of making its railways net zero by the end of this decade. We will achieve the target of 20 percent ethanol in petrol by the year 2025. Water conservation is being done through Amrit Sarovar in every village. People are planting trees in the name of mother. India's effort is completely in the form of Made in India solution. He said that the people of India have given a third term to a government continuously after 60 years. Today 140 crore Indians have faith, the youth have faith, women have faith that the wings that have been given to their hopes in the last 10 years will take a new flight in this third term. The poor, Dalits, victims, exploited and deprived of the country have faith that our third term will be the guarantee of their living a dignified life. The people of India are working with the resolve to rapidly take the country to the top three economies. This is part of our action plan to make India a developed nation by 2047. The trailer of how we are doing this work can be seen in the decisions taken in the first 100 days of our third term. Many important decisions were taken. 7 crore houses are being built in the country. This is more than the population of many countries of the world. The government has built 4 crore houses in its two terms. In the third term, the work of building 3 crore new houses has also started. In the last hundred days, a decision was taken to build 12 new industrial cities in India, eight high-speed road corridors were approved. More than 15 new Made in India semi-high-speed Vande Bharat trains have been launched. The Prime Minister said that today the whole world feels that India is the best bet of the 21st century.

Modi said that Gujarat is the land where the White Revolution, the Madhu Revolution and the Surya Revolution arose. Gujarat is the state of India which first made its solar power policy. The policy was first made in Gujarat, after which we moved forward at the national level. Gujarat was also far ahead in creating a separate ministry for climate.

Modi said that Mahatma Gandhi had alerted the world. This vision of Mahatma Gandhi has emerged from the great tradition of India. For us, green future, net zero is not a fancy word, it is the need of India, it is the commitment of the government. Today's India is preparing a base not only for today but for the next thousand years. Our aim is not just to reach the top, but to remain there. Modi said that to make India a developed nation by the year 2047, we have decided to prepare a future based on solar power, wind power, nuclear and hydro power for our needs. Describing the rooftop scheme as a unique scheme, the Prime Minister said that every house in India is going to become a power producer. He said that under this scheme, the work of installing solar panels in 3.25 lakh houses has also been completed. Its results are amazing. He said that this will save people electricity bills and they will earn 25 thousand rupees from the savings. After 20 years, 10-12 lakh rupees will be earned. This money will be used for children's education and marriage. It will generate 20 lakh jobs and will work towards protecting the environment. PM Modi mentioned the Sun Temple while referring to Modhera. He said that it is a completely solar energy village. He informed about Ayodhya becoming a solar model city. PM Modi gave information about various schemes related to solar power. 25 thousand representatives from 140 countries including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Madhya Pradesh Chief Mohan Yadav have participated in the program. More than 40 sessions, 5 panel discussions, more than 115 B2B meetings will be organized.
