Quetta, 14 Sep (HS):- Two soldiers of the Baluchistan
Levies Force died in an attack by a tribal group in the Masting District of
Pakistan’s Baluchistan province. Three others including a senior officer were
injured in the attack on Friday. In an another explosion in Kalat eight
security personnel were injured.
According to the newspaper Dawn, the attack was a
fallout of the arrest of a tribal leader. The tribals blocked the Quetta-Noshki
highway and attacked the Levies soldiers.
The area is adjacent to the Pakistan-Afghanistan
border and attacks on Pakistan security forces are common in the region.
