Dhaka, 14 Sep (HS):- Former Home Minister of Bangladesh

Asaduzzama Khan Kamal and his son Safi Mudassir Khan Jyoti were arrested by the

Dhaka police on Friday night.

According to the newspaper Dhaka Tribune, Dhaka SP

Ahmad Muid confirmed their arrest. Jyoti was arrested around 3.30 am. They will

produced in the court on Saturday.

Kamal was close to the ousted prime minister Sheikh

Hasina, who fled the country and is said to be staying in India.
