
New Delhi, 23 August (HS): The whole world is watching Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with Ukraine's President Zelensky in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev, today. Prime Minister Modi's visit to Ukraine, just six weeks after his visit to Russia, is being considered quite historic. Prime Minister Modi has left for Ukraine by train from there after completing his two-day state visit to Poland.
Prime Minister Modi will discuss other issues with Ukrainian President Zelensky, including efforts to bring peace in the war. Before starting the Ukraine tour, Prime Minister Modi said that India believes in diplomacy and dialogue. India's stand is very clear that this is not the era of war. India is a supporter of permanent peace. India is the land of Lord Buddha.
