Kanpur,
August 10 (HS): Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has announced the
launch of ‘SATHEE IBPS’ platform, an innovative program designed to help
candidates prepare for banking examinations conducted by the Institute of
Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). This initiative, in collaboration with the
Ministry of Education, provides high quality educational resources to
interested students across India, giving priority to those from economically
weaker backgrounds and remote areas, ensuring equal opportunities and access to
the highest quality learning materials and their reach among students.
The
SATHEE IBPS program provides comprehensive study material for the IBPS Clerk
exam and plans to include other IBPS exams in the near future. Interested
candidates can register for the SATHEE IBPS program through its portal
https://ibps.iitk.ac.in/ or by downloading the SATHEE app from the App Store or
Google Play Store. IIT Director Prof. Manindra Agarwal on Saturday said that
the SATHEE IBPS platform reaffirms our commitment towards creating access to
higher education for all and exemplifies how we use our technological expertise
to empower students across the country, providing them quality study material
to score high. They prepare you not only for exams but also for a successful
future. This is in line with the goals of the National Education Policy 2020.
Prof.
Amey Karkare said SATHEE IBPS offers a structured learning experience that can
be seamlessly adapted to the specific needs of every student. Govind Jaiswal,
Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education, said that the objective is to bridge
the digital gap and create an educational environment for the candidates
preparing for IBPS and help them excel in their ambitions by removing the
barriers of their geographical or economic limitations. This platform has been
designed to cater to their educational needs.
