Jaunpur, 5 July (HS): Two youths, residents of Bachhuar village of Singramau police station area, died after coming under high tension wire late on Thursday night. Suraj Tiwari (22) and Shyam Yadav (22), residents of Bachhuar village, died after coming in contact with high tension wire. The villagers hurriedly took them to the PHC, where after initial treatment they were referred to Badlapur in critical condition.

Doctor Sanjay Dubey declared both the youth dead. As soon as information about the incident was received, BJP MLA Ramesh Mishra arrived. He attributed the accident to the negligence of the SDO and JE of the electricity department.

The MLA immediately spoke to the District Magistrate and said that strict action would be taken against both of them. The MLA also said that for this he had asked the JE and SDO several times to get the wires repaired ahead of time but the officials did not pay heed to his request. Due to this accident happened.
