Oli started changing governors of various states and secretaries of
all the departments. The changes started with Oli allying with
Nepali Congress to become the Prime Minister. As many as 18 new ambassadors to
different countries were appointed by Oli. Senior police officers were
transferred to fulfill the quota of the parties to the alliance, including the Nepali Congress.

Gurung said governors of Bagmati, Lumbini, and Karnali were removed. Gurung said
Deepak Prasad Devkota, Krishna Bahadur Gharti, and Yagyaraj Joshi have been
appointed governors of Bagmati, Lumbini, and Karnali respectively. The decisions
were taken during a cabinet meeting of the Oli-led government.
As many as 21 secretaries from different departments
including Home, Finance, Defence, Industry, Commerce, Energy, General
Administration, etc were transferred. New
ambassadors were appointed to 18 countries including India, America, China,
Russia, UK, Australia, and Canada. The appointment of 11 ambassadors were
cancelled.
