Caracas, 29 July (HS): Nicolas Maduro secured 51 per cent
votes and got reelected for the third term as President of Venezuela. According
to the electoral authority, Maduro has secured more than 50 per cent of votes. The
opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez won 44 per cent votes.
The outcome of the election was clear after 80 per cent of
ballot boxes counted. Maduro has received 51.2 per cent votes. Gonzalez has secured
44.2 per cent votes.
