26 July (HS): A class 10 student drowned in a stream of Ghaghra river while

going to school near Masuriapur Trimuhani Banka village in Raunapar police

station area of ​​the district. The search for the student is going on with the

help of divers by local villagers and administration. Shivam Sahni (18), son of

Shambhu Sahni, resident of Banka Budhanpatti village of Raunapar police station

area, is a student of class ten.

He studies in Chandrabhanu Inter College,

Masuriapur. Like every day, on Friday morning, when he came with the students

to the bank of a small stream of the Ghaghra river to go to school, the boat

was on the other side of the river. Being the eldest in age, he started taking

a boat to the other side and due to high water, he drowned in the river. The

villagers informed his family members and the local police about the incident.

On information, police and the student's family reached the spot. Police are

searching for the drowned student in the river with the help of villagers and

local divers.
