Washington, 25 July (HS):- America issued an advisory to its

nationals to refrain from visiting Maipur and Jammu Kashmir, the India-Pakistan

border regions, the Central and Eastern region of India and also the Naxal-infested

regions.

The travel advisory was issued to those visiting India by

American Foreign Affairs Department. India is on Level 2 for the risk involved

in travelling. These parts of India, however, are placed at Level 4. The Department

said that the advisory has been issued following growing violence, extremism,

sexual exploitation including rapes in some parts of India.
