Washington, 22 July (HS): President of California

Democratic Party Rusty Hicks has appealed to the party leaders to support

Kamala Harris as the party’s presidential candidate. Hicks conveyed his request

through e-mail with KDH endorsement form attached. He has also appealed to sign

the form and to publicly support Harris.

The New York Times reported that the party would select its

candidate on Wednesday. The process for selecting the new candidate began as

Joe Biden has withdrawn from the race and supported Harris as his successor.
