Meerut, 9 May (HS): Two youths were murdered and their bodies were thrown in the forest of Paanch Gaon of Kharkhoda police station area. Suspicion of murder was raised in a video found in the mobile phones of both of them.

ADG Meerut Zone DK Thakur and IG Nachiketa Jha camped at Kharkhoda police station late at night. Police are busy searching for the accused. The villagers of Kaili village had gone to Panchi forest of Kharkhoda police station area on Wednesday night. When they saw the bodies of two youths in the garden near Kaili underpass on Delhi-Hapur National Highway, people raised an alarm.

On information, Kharkhoda police reached the spot. When the police tried to identify the dead through the mobile phones found on the spot, the bodies were recognised as Manoj son of Naresh Nai, resident of Bijauli village and Monty son of Tilak Jatav, resident of Narhada village. Both the youths used to act as tableau artists. The forensic team also reached the spot and collected evidence. The relatives of both the deceased reached the police station. Police sent the bodies for post-mortem.

ADG DK Thakur, IG Nachiketa Jha, SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan, SP Crime Anit Kumar, SP Dehat Kamlesh Bahadur reached Kharkhoda police station. ADG and IG camped in the police station itself. Police have formed five teams to solve the double murder. Police are investigating the mobile found near the dead body. Call details of both their mobiles are being extracted.

According to the police, in a video found in the mobile of the deceased, both of them had expressed apprehension of murder on May 4. In this video, suspicion of murder was raised against Ankush and Naveen of Kaili village. Police raided both their houses in wee hours, but they were found absconding. SSP says that the incident will be revealed soon.
