Cong should apologize to public for Sam Pitroda's statement: Adityanath

Lucknow, 9 May (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that Sam Pitroda is the intellectual of Congress and it should apologise for his statements.

“He is narrating the Congress's policy of divide and rule. There is a desperate desire to gain power in Congress. The Congress is responsible for the tragedy of partition of India in 1947. Even after independence, Congress has committed the sin of dividing the country in the name of caste, region and language.

Sam Pitroda's statement is condemnable. Congress should apologize to the people of the country for what Sam Pitroda is saying. Congress should apologize for the actions of its intellectual,” said Yogi Adityanath.

Before leaving for the election rally on Thursday, Chief Minister Adityanath spoke to the media at his official residence. The Chief Minister said that they are trying to divide North India, South India, East India and West India on the basis of colour and skin. “This is an expose of a conspiracy against the country and is also a very dangerous intention of the Congress. This shameful and condemnable statement is going to insult the 140 crore Indians in an eternal country like India,” he added.

Yogi slammed Sam Pitroda's statement related to Ram temple. He said that Sam Pitroda should keep his wits to himself. “Congratulations to Congress for intelligent people like him. Nationalists consider Ram and the nation as complementary to each other. Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram is the basis of cultural unity of the Indian nation.

The basic character of India gets new life from the consciousness of Ram. Shri Ram is considered the ideal of decorum in every family of India. Ram is a symbol of cultural and political unity of India. It contains the feeling of poor welfare, support for all, development for all, ‘sarve santu niramaya.’ Its basic consciousness comes from Lord Shri Ram, hence the construction of Ram temple is a matter of pride for India. Those who do not have faith in India and Indianness and who feel embarrassed in doing good work, may God they continue to feel this embarrassed,” he opined.

Adityanath said that along with the 140 crore people of India, wherever in the world the followers of Sanatan Dharma reside, every person who is in favour of the welfare of humanity is happy and elated with the construction of Ram Temple. “This is the reason why not only Sanatan Dharma followers but also dozens of ambassadors from the world have visited Ayodhya and seen the development works there. This continuity will continue further,” he concluded.
