Ram Gopal Yadav's statement plays with Sanatan faith: Yogi

Lucknow, 7 May (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to the media at his official residence on Tuesday before leaving for the election campaign. During this period, all the parties of Indi alliance including Congress, SP, RJD were on the target of the Chief Minister.

He criticized the statements of SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav and RJD chief Lalu Yadav. Yogi said that the character of Samajwadi Party-Congress is anti-Hindu and anti-Ram. “People and everything around us will look to us in the same manner that we view them. People will seem to you just how you perceive them,” he opined.

It is noteworthy that Samajwadi Party's National General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav has given a controversial statement on the issue of Ram Temple. He said that the map of Ram temple is not correct. That temple is useless. A temple is not built like this.

Chief Minister Yogi has hit back at his statement. Chief Minister Yogi said that these are the people who have opened fire on Ram devotees, denying the existence of Shri Ram and challenging the divine authority of Maryada Prabhu Shri Ram. They cannot respect the faith of India, the national heroes of India and have no reverence for the great freedom fighters who contributed to the freedom movement. It is meaningless to expect such things from these people.

The Chief Minister further said that Congress, SP, DMK, RJD, National Conference are all in the same bag. “These people have always been opposing the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Their sentiments are against the faith of Hindus and India. Their character is one that nurtures the policy of appeasement. These supporters of terrorism have been behaving contrary to the ideals of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram. Nothing more can be expected from such people, but let them know that challenging the divine authority means destruction, dark, opposite intelligence. The public understands their real character,” he stressed.

He said that people associated with Congress and Indi alliance tried from the beginning to prevent the decision from the Honorable Court in the case of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. “These people used to act as barriers and create obstacles. When the matter went to the Supreme Court, these people did not let anything happen for 7-8 years, but when the government was formed under the leadership of Modi at the Center and then in the state, this process was accelerated. The Supreme Court gave its decision on this.

Under the guidance and leadership of Prime Minister Modi, a grand temple was built in Ayodhya. Millions of devotees from across the country and the world are coming and paying their respects and seeing the new Ayodhya. People of Congress-SP and Indi alliance have stood with the traitors of Ram,” he emphasised.

The Chief Minister said that Ram Gopal Yadav's statement shows the reality of Indi alliance with SP and Congress. “These people are not only playing with the faith of India for vote bank, but are also challenging the divine authority of Lord Shri Ram. History is witness to the fact that whoever has challenged the divine authority has met with misfortune,” he claimed. He said that Ram Gopal Yadav's statement is a mess with Sanatan faith and an insult to millions of Ram devotees. “The faith of those who have dedicated their entire lives to Ram Temple is being attacked. Indian society cannot accept this at all. His statement is irritating. Efforts are being made to preserve the vote bank by following the policy of appeasement. Their reality is clearly visible from such statements,” he remarked.

Yogi said that the Prime Minister is also saying that Congress, SP-RJD etc. parties associated with the Indi alliance will try to make a dent in the reservation of backward, scheduled castes and tribes. “Their manifesto mentions this. When the Congress led UPA government was in power, RJD and SP were its constituent parties. At that time these people had formed Ranganath Mishra and Sachar Committee. Ranganath Mishra Committee had mentioned that out of 27, six percent reservation should be given to Muslims. At that time, BJP had strongly opposed this and said that reservation cannot be done on the basis of religion. Then an attempt was made to make a dent in the reservation of Scheduled Castes and Tribes by forming the Sachar Committee. These people tried to include some castes of Muslims in the Scheduled Castes and Tribes. BJP had also opposed this, because Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was against reservation on the basis of religion. He had said that reservation cannot be done in the name of religion. This led to the partition of India, so we should not do anything like this. Due to this, the rights of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Castes were saved, but whenever Congress, SP and RJD get an opportunity, they will try to make a dent in the reservation of these castes and forcibly give it to the minorities. The foundation stone for the partition of India is being laid, rejecting which the voters should respond strongly,” he said prior to signing off.
