PM Modi, Nadda Bring the Heat to Odisha: Rallies Set for Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections


Delhi, 6 May (H.S): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president J P Nadda are all set to visit Odisha in the upcoming days for the ongoing Lok Sabha and assembly elections. On May 6, PM Modi will address two rallies in Berhampur and Nabarangpur constituencies, as announced by a party leader.

The External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will also be visiting the state from Saturday for a two-day trip to meet intellectuals and journalists. Notably, Nadda had already addressed a rally in Berhampur on April 28 and will return to Odisha on Sunday to plan out the party's election strategies.

The BJP state unit vice-president Golak Mohapatra informed the media that Nadda will participate in various party programs in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Additionally, union Home Minister Amit Shah had launched the BJP's election campaign in Odisha on April 25 from Sonepur. With simultaneous Lok Sabha and assembly elections taking place in four phases from May 13, all political parties are actively campaigning to secure votes and gain support from the people of Odisha.
