New Delhi, May 6 (HS): Congress on Monday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party is intimidating professionals associated with its party. Through Delhi Police, youth workers of the party associated with social media are being harassed by taking fake legal action against them.

Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinet, while addressing a press conference, alleged that BJP is threatening the professionals associated with Congress ideology with action. During talks at the Congress headquarters, Shrinet said that the BJP is nervous. At the same time, the Congress Party is taking appropriate measures to protect its professionals and content writers associated with social media.

Supriya Shrinet also alleged that BJP is editing videos related to Congress and posting them on social media. The party had complained against this to Delhi Police 72 hours ago but Delhi Police has not taken action yet. After meeting the Police Commissioner this morning, we got assurance of action, she added.

Supriya Shrinet said that videos spreading enmity are being posted on social media. Rahul Gandhi's video is being cropped and posted on social media. This type of incident is happening in Karnataka also. Big hoardings were installed illegally in Delhi. The Election Commission should work impartially.

Supriya Shrinet said that two phases of voting have been done and the third phase of voting is on Tuesday. He said that the reason for low turnout in the last two phases is not due to sunlight and heat but lack of enthusiasm among BJP voters.
