Mumbai, 5 May (HS): An unknown vehicle ran away after hitting a car in the early hours of Sunday on Samriddhi Highway near Channel No. 304 on Mumbai Corridor in Buldhana district. In the incident, three people travelling in the car died on the spot, while two people were injured.

Both the injured have been admitted to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Hospital. According to the police, early today, five people from Haryana district were travelling by car on Samruddhi Highway.

An unknown vehicle hit the car from behind near channel number 304 on the Mumbai corridor and ran away. In this incident, Mukesh Anuj Ram Mehar, Latabai Purushottam Mehar, Atmaja Munorbode died on the spot.
