Shimla, 5 May (HS): A case of rape of a 17 year old minor girl on the pretext of marriage has come to light in Jhakri police station area of Shimla. On the complaint of the victim, the police have arrested the accused. The accused was also threatening to kill the victim.

The victim lodged a complaint at Jhakri police station. She told the police that Dinesh (25), resident of Rampur, lured her into marriage and under the guise of false assurance they had physical relations several times. The accused knows the victim well. After the complaint of the victim, the police have arrested the accused. A case has been registered against him under serious sections including POCSO Act. The Police are investigating and further details are awaited.
