New Delhi, 2 May (HS): Senior Congress leader Pawan Khera has made a bold claim that the BJP-led governments in 10 to 15 states will collapse once the INDIA bloc comes to power at the Centre after the current Lok Sabha elections.

He stated that the INDIA bloc plans to amend the 10th Schedule of the Constitution to ban defections and disqualify those who switch parties. Khera believes that this move will expose and bring an end to the current practice of defection, which has been a major issue in Indian politics.

He confidently predicted that all these governments will collapse by July once the election results are announced on June 4. Khera also called out BJP leader and union Home Minister Amit Shah for his involvement in election rallies and urged the media to question him about the 10th Schedule of the Constitution.

In addition, Khera also touched upon the case of BJP MP Prajwal Revanna, who is facing allegations of sexual abuse, stating that it is the responsibility of the central government to cancel his passport and bring him back to India. Khera labeled this as the world's biggest case of sexual exploitation and urged everyone, including Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, to condemn it. Overall, Khera's statements showcase the Congress party's strong stance against defection and their determination to bring about political change in India.
