Dima Hasao (Assam), 02 May (HS): Lumding-Silchar train service has been disrupted again due to landslides in Dima Hasao district. It may be noted that the communication system has been disrupted due to landslides caused by heavy rains.

The district administration has instructed to keep educational institutions closed in the district. The hill district has been in the grip of adverse weather for the last few days. The residents of the hill district are scared. The district administration and District Disaster Management Department issued an order on Thursday due to bad weather. According to the order, all educational institutions of the hill district will remain closed from today till further orders.
