After Ayodhya, BJP should campaign for Kanshi and Mathura temples

Lucknow, 15 May (HS): BJP workers campaigning from street to street in Lucknow Lok Sabha constituency are getting massive support from the people.

On meeting elderly supporters of BJP, workers remind them of two things, Atal Bihari and the lotus flower. Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee used to contest elections from Lucknow Lok Sabha constituency. He used to go to Parliament after winning from here.

Then Chandraprakash Agnihotri, who was involved in his campaign, told that he was an employee of the Municipal Corporation, yet he used to spare time to campaign for Vajpayee. When today's generation goes out to campaign, they raise modern slogans. In our times, slogans were raised in the name of Atal Bihari. But we are raising the same old slogan, he said. Agnihotri said that when Vajpayee used to contest elections, the entire atmosphere was BJP-oriented.

BJP leader Sanjay Awasthi says that nowadays it sounds like a slogan of Modi-Modi. Similarly, during Atal ji's time, they used to raise two or three slogans. The workers used to get excited as soon as the slogans were raised. His father Badri Prasad, a senior BJP leader, used to campaign with Atal ji.

Now the slogan of Ram Lalla has been fulfilled. The resolution to build Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya has been fulfilled with the power of public money on the orders of the Supreme Court. Now the slogan should be that Ayodhya is just a glimpse, Kashi and Mathura are on the anvil, he said.
