Islamabad, 15 May (HS): An Accountability Court has adjourned the hearing on the corruption case against former PM Imran Khan till Friday for security reasons.

The 190 million pound corruption case was on the court’s agenda. The hearing was deferred at the request of authorities at Adiala prison, where Imran Khan is currently imprisoned.

The media has reported that Imran Khan has been lodged at the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi since August last year. Adiala jail is the most sensitive prison in the region. More than 7,000 prisoners are in the jail, including those involved in serious crimes.
