New Delhi, April 25 (HS): German automobile manufacturer Audi has announced an increase in car price

New Delhi, April 25 (HS): German automobile manufacturer Audi has announced an increase in car prices. The company will increase the prices of its various models in India by up to two percent from June 1 to mitigate the impact of rising raw material prices.

The company's India head Balbir Singh Dhillon said in a statement that the price increase from June 1 is aimed at ensuring sustainable growth for the automaker and its dealers while minimizing the impact on customers. The rising cost of raw materials is forcing us to increase prices by up to two percent.

Dhillon said that Audi India's retail sales stood at 7,027 units in the last financial year 2023-24 with an annual growth of 33 percent.
