Mumbai, 23 April (HS): Mumbai Customs seized gold worth over ₹4.44 crore and diamonds worth ₹2.02 crore in 13 cases in the last three days at Mumbai Airport. Four accused have been arrested in these cases.

According to Customs Department sources, a special checking campaign was conducted at Mumbai Airport for the last three days. During this period, a total of about 6.815 kg of gold was seized in 13 cases, whose value in the international market was estimated at Rs 4.44 crore. Along with this, diamonds worth ₹2.02 crore have also been seized.
