Ujjain, 23 April (HS): Today, the birth anniversary of Ram devotee Pawanputra Hanumanji is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. There is a crowd in the temples since morning. Sunderkand recitations and religious events are taking place at various places. In the world famous Jyotirlinga temple of Lord Mahakaleshwar here, after Bhasma Aarti, Lord Mahakal was decorated in the form of Hanumanji.

According to tradition, as soon as the doors of the Mahakaleshwar temple opened at four in the morning on the full moon day of Chaitra Shukla Paksha, the idols of God installed in the sanctum sanctorum were worshiped. After this, Lord Mahakal was anointed with water. After that, Abhishek Puja was performed with Panchamrit made from milk, curd, ghee, honey and fruit juice. Hari Om water was offered by ringing the first bell. After Kapoor Aarti, Lord Mahakal was made to wear a silver crown, Rudraksha and Mundamala.

In Bhasma Aarti, Lord Mahakal was decorated in the form of Hanuman. She was decorated with hemp, dry fruits and dry fruits and was adorned with a new crown and garland. After the adornment, the Jyotirlinga of Baba Mahakal was covered with a cloth and ashes were also offered. Ashes were offered to Lord Mahakal on behalf of Mahanirvani Akhara. During this period thousands of devotees saw the divine form of Lord Mahakal. People had darshan of Nandi Maharaj and went near his ear and asked for his blessings to fulfill their wishes. During this time the entire temple complex resonated with the echo of Jai Shri Mahakal.

H&A Enterprises, a company based in Surat, Gujarat, offered two pieces of silver squares to Lord Mahakal. Their total weight is 1068.500 grams. On behalf of Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee, Moolchand Junwal honored the donor by presenting him a receipt.
