Cachar (Assam), 21 April (HS): union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday participated in a grand road show (Vijay Sankalp Yatra) in Silchar, Cachar district headquarters of Barak Valley. During this, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, BJP candidate from Silchar seat and State Minister Parimal Shuklabaidya along with many senior BJP leaders were present along with the Home Minister.

A big number of people from entire Barak Valley had gathered in this road show of the Home Minister. This road show passed through the main road of Silchar. It seemed that people from all sections had gathered in this road show. For some time, only heads of people were visible on the streets of Silchar. Amit Shah was moving slowly with the convoy while showering flowers on the people.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Dr. Sarma participated in this road show after addressing a program at Hailakandi in Barak Valley today. In view of this road show of Amit Shah, the roads of Silchar were constructed on war footing. Today, Trinamool Congress MP Sushmita Dev condemned the state government by sharing pictures related to the construction work of these roads and the earlier condition of the road through social media. At the same time, Chief Minister Dr. Sarma said that looking at the way the crowd of people has gathered in Amit Shah's show, it can be said that the people of Barak Valley have made up their mind to make the BJP candidates victorious.
