Beirut, 20 Apr (HS):- Israel launched airstrikes on several villages in southern Lebanon killing two Hezbollah militants and three civilians. Israeli army destroyed a house in Aita-al-Shaab village killing a Hezbollah fighter and wounding two civilians.

A two-storeyed house in Blida village was targeted by Israeli warplanes. Another Hezbollah member was killed and one civilian was injured in the attack.

Israeli fighter planes and drones attacked five villages in the eastern and central parts damaging 17 houses, Xinhua news agency has reported. Meanwhile, Hezbollah confirmed that it had attacked several Israeli sites.

Tension between the two escalated following Hamas's attack on Israel and Hezbollah launched rockets towards Israel.
