Bareilly, 20 April (HS): The round of allegations and counter-allegations is also continuing in the election meetings. Opposition leaders are making objectionable comments on the ruling party. In one such case, a case has been registered against SP MLA Ataur Rahman on Saturday for violation of the Model Code of Conduct. This case has been registered on the basis of the complaint given by BJP worker Jitendra Kumar, resident of Rahpura in Devaraniya police station.

According to the worker, recently an election meeting was organized at Nehru Yuva Kendra after the nomination of Indi Alliance candidate Praveen Singh Airan. In this, SP MLA Ataur Rahman had made objectionable comments about Bareilly Lok Sabha BJP candidate Chhatrapal Singh Gangwar. The SP MLA had now called Gangwar a robber and his nephew Dushyant Singh Gangwar. Its video went viral on social media. In this case, a case has been registered against the SP MLA in the police station.
