Kyiv, 20 Apr (HS):- Ukraine on Friday claimed to have shot down Russia’s Strategic Bomber Plane. Moscow officials, however, said that its TU-22M3 Strategic Bomber crashed in an area with a low population, due to a technical snag after a mission.

Ukraine’s earlier claims to have shot down Russian fighter jets were not denied by Russia. Ukraine is posing a serious challenge to Russia with the support of the West. Russian Air Force is more powerful than that of Ukraine. The TU-22M3 bombers were used to destroy Ukraine’s key targets.

According Russian Intelligence Agency three crew members survived the crash, while the fourth one is reported missing. Stavropol Governor Vladimir Vladimirov said that one of the crew members died.

Meanwhile, eight people, including an eight-year-old girl died and 25 others were injured in a Russian missile attack on the Dnipro region of Ukraine. Local authorities said that Russia launched 22 missiles and used 14 drones in the air attack during the night.
