Bus overturns in UP's Unnao, leaving one person wounded


Unnao, 20 April (HS): A bus carrying 32 people, including seven children, toppled on the Lucknow-Agra road here in the early hours of Saturday, police said. According to authorities, the group was traveling from Delhi to Jaunpur district to attend a marriage celebration. The bus overturned near Sabli Kheda village. It appears that the collision occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle. However, the driver was able to slow down the vehicle and prevent a severe accident, according to Arvind Kumar, the area's Circle Officer (CO).

There were 32 passengers on the bus, including seven children. One of the passengers got serious injuries and was sent to a Lucknow hospital, he added. A few others had minor injuries and were released after receiving first assistance, he added.
