Cairo, 02 Apr (HS): Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was sworn in on Tuesday as Egyptian President for the third term.

Sisi swept the elections in December last by securing 89.6 percent votes. Sisi was elected for his approach towards development. He was first elected the President in 2014. Splurge in infrastructure and military were his major achievements. Sisi’s vision brought Egypt out of economic problems, which ensured stability, which was under scanner due to the Israel-Gaza war.

Sisi, a former Intelligence Agency General rose to power in 2013.
