Shining Light on Ram Lalla: Divine 'Surya Abhishek' Ceremony in Ayodhya

Ayodhya/Delhi, 17 April (H.S): Ram Lalla, the revered deity in Ayodhya, is set to be honored with a unique celestial event termed as 'Surya Abhishek' on April 17. This extraordinary phenomenon involves capturing and redirecting sun rays onto the deity through a meticulously designed optical apparatus. The innovative setup utilises a Fabry-Perot cavity, a device renowned for its precision in manipulating light, to ensure that sunbeams precisely illuminate the forehead of Lord Ram at precisely noon on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami.

This event, which was initially planned to take place after the completion of the Ram temple, was rescheduled due to appeals from revered saints and seers. As a result, scientists from CBRI (Central Building Research Institute) have volunteered to orchestrate the arrangements for the 'Surya Abhishek' during the inaugural Ram Navami celebrations at the newly constructed temple complex.

The sun's rays will grace the forehead of Ram Lalla for approximately four minutes, forming a circular pattern spanning 75 millimeters, in what is sure to be a truly awe-inspiring and unforgettable sight for all those present. This event serves as a beautiful symbol of devotion and reverence towards Lord Ram, showcasing the harmonious blend of science and spirituality in Indian culture.
