Dushanbe, 30 Mar (HS):- Nine people in Tajikistan were detained under suspicion of contact with the persons involved in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, on March 22. The gunmen killed 144 people in the attack during a cultural show. They were detained by the Tajikistan Special Services sleuths with the cooperation of the Russian Security Agency, RIA Novosti news agency and Al Jazeera have reported.

The Russian State Media reported that 11 suspects had been arrested, four of whom carried out the attack. Those four have been identified as Tajikistan nationals were produced in the Moscow Court on Sunday. On Thursday another suspect was arrested in this connection.

Al Jazeera reported that a faction of ISIL has claimed responsibility for the attack. But Russian President Vladimir Putin has persistently claimed that Ukraine and the West had a role in the attack. Russia’s investigation agency claimed that it has evidence of the connection between funds received by the perpetrators from Ukraine.
