Hyderabad, 11 (HS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a significant move by fielding a woman candidate, Kompella Madhavi Latha, against AIMIM chief and four-time Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi. This decisio was made as part of the party's initial list of Lok Sabha candidates announced recently, where Madhavi Latha was named as the nominee for Hyderabad.

Apart from being a businesswoman, Madhavi Latha is also a Bharatnatyam dancer and a one-time NCC cadet. It is said that the BJP has chosen her as their candidate to present a strong Hindutva challenge to Owaisi, who has been a dominant figure in the Hyderabad political landscape. 

As per sources, she has got a strong team who has been with her on the ground to take care of different areas of Hyderabad  constituency before the ticket got announced.

It will be interesting to see how the battle between these two candidates unfolds in the coming days.
