Motorcyclist, pillion rider dead in road mishap


Udhampur, 12 February (HS): A motorcyclist, pillion rider died when their motorcycle met with an accident after skidding off the road at Salora near Tikri, in Udhampur District.

The deceased has been identified as Rickey (21) son of Balwant Raj resident of Ward No.07 Garian Talab Udhampur and Sachin Kumar (22) son of Ashok Kumar of Ward No.07 near forest office Udhampur.

The accident took place around 3am today when the Motorcycle, bearing Registration number JK14J 8839, was on its way from Udhampur to jammu, skidded off the road at Salora near Tikri, in Udhampur.

Locals and Tikri police shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared both of brought dead.

Rehambal police after completion of all the formalities and postmortem handed over the body to family members and investigation starts.
