Guwahati, 29 December (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for mentioning the initiative to improve the health of the state's tea industry areas in the radio program Mann Ki Baat.

Chief Minister Dr. Sarma posted on social media on Sunday that technology and social media have been used properly to improve the health of the basic pillars of the tea industry. As a result, significant success has been achieved in malaria eradication efforts in Jorhat's tea gardens. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi recognized this initiative in the 'Mann Ki Baat' program, for which we are grateful to him. The Chief Minister said that with this statement of the Prime Minister, the light of Indian culture is now spreading all over the world.

It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister had shared a post on social media to listen to the Prime Minister's Mann Ki Baat program from 11 am on Sunday. The Chief Minister, members of the State Cabinet and BJP leaders listened to the Prime Minister's Mann Ki Baat programme.
