New Delhi, 29 December (H.S.): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is visiting Indore on Sunday on a two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh. He will also visit Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Janmabhoomi Memorial in Mhow. After this, he will visit all the institutions of the army and participate in the programs organised there. Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan and Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi will also be present with the defence minister.

According to the scheduled program, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will reach Indore Airport by special plane at around 12 noon. From here he will go to Mhow by helicopter and land at the Army War College helipad.

At around 12:40 pm, he will reach Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Janmabhoomi Memorial. Ambedkar Memorial Society Secretary Rajesh Wankhede said that the defence minister will garland the statue of Dr. Ambedkar here. After staying at the memorial for about 15 minutes, he will leave for the Army War College at 12:55.

After this, the defence minister will visit the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering Unit. In the evening, he will visit the country's first Infantry Museum, located in Mhow. After this, he will also visit the Army Marksmanship Unit, specially prepared for shooting and other sports. After a night's rest in Mhow, he will go to Ujjain the next day. Returning from Ujjain to Indore, the defence minister will leave for Delhi.

It is worth noting that there are three major military headquarters institutions in Mhow: Station Headquarters, Army War College, and Military College of Telecommunication Engineering. Along with these, there is also Infantry School. Many courses are conducted in these institutions. The defence minister can also visit these places.

Indore Police Commissioner Santosh Singh said that in view of the visit of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, there will be a ban on paragliding, air balloons, and other equipment, including drones, at a distance of three kilometres from Indore Airport.
