Tezpur, 28 December (HS): On the last day of his three-day visit to Sonitpur district, Governor Laxman Prasad Acharya offered prayers at the Mahabhairav temple early on Saturday morning to seek blessings of Lord Mahadev and prayed for the overall welfare of the state.

The Governor also wished the people of the state a Happy New Year. In the afternoon, the Governor attended a review meeting of various departments at the District Commissioners' office and concluded his tour program.
