UAE Embassy Celebrates Cultural Day in Delhi

New Delhi, 2 December (H.S.): The UAE Embassy in New Delhi, India, in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Culture and the Dubai Cultural Authority, recently organised a UAE Cultural Day celebration.

This event, attended by senior government officials, diplomats, business leaders, media representatives, and members of various cultural organisations, was held as part of the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations. The event featured a range of cultural, heritage, and entertainment activities that showcased Emirati traditions and customs.

Guests were treated to a dedicated corner for Emirati craftswomen to display their traditional crafts, a food station offering delicious Emirati dishes, and a henna design corner to experience this traditional cultural art. The event also saw enthusiastic participation from guests who praised the festive atmosphere and acknowledged the UAE’s significant achievements and progress under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President. Moreover, the event highlighted the strong ties between the UAE and India across various fields such as culture, social, economic, and diplomatic cooperation. Over the past year, these ties have only strengthened with bilateral trade between the two countries reaching nearly USD 84 billion. This event not only celebrated the UAE’s history and culture but also emphasized the country’s vital role as India’s second-largest export market, third-largest trading partner, and fourth-largest investor.

Additionally, significant milestones like the opening of the BAPS Hindu Mandir and the establishment of a Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi have further solidified the bond between the two nations.
