Guwahati, 12 December (HS): Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka was felicitated publicly at Havali in Barpeta on Thursday. The Governor was felicitated at a public felicitation ceremony organised by the Havali Sarvajanik Shiv Mandir Management Committee.

After this, Ramen Deka was felicitated at various events in the district including Havali as well as Barpeta Road.

Earlier in the day, the Chhattisgarh Governor visited the Shiv temple and offered prayers to Devdidev Mahadev.

During this, Secretary of Assam Shishu Sahitya Trust Rishikesh Goswami, Dr. Umesh Chakraborty and Bhupesh Sharma were present. Ramen Deka has been continuously working to build the organisational base of the party in the state since the formation of the party in Assam.
