Two suspects apprehended in Raniganj firing case
Dhubri, (Assam), 28 November (HS): Police have arrested two subjects in connection with the firing incident in Raniganj market near Bilasipara. On Tuesday night, the attackers had fled after shooting three people at a bank customer service center.

Dhubri, (Assam), 28 November (HS): Police have arrested two subjects in connection with the firing incident in Raniganj market near Bilasipara.

On Tuesday night, the attackers had fled after shooting three people at a bank customer service center. Police said on Thursday that the two youths could be arrested with great difficulty.

Dhubri District Superintendent of Police Naveen Singh told the media that the youths taken into custody have been identified as Noor Islam, resident of Beltali, and Akhtar alias Abbas, resident of Shalakochar in Chappar. Singh said that a magazine has been recovered from them.

The motorcycle used in the incident has been recovered from Shuklatari of Lakhiganj in the area.
