Bareilly,
Oct 27 (HS): A four-year-old child was reportedly slain by her aunt and a
'tantrik' as part of black magic rites in the district. Officials
said on Sunday that the duo had been apprehended. Police discovered the girl's
death inside her aunt's home after receiving a missing person complaint from
her family, they said. Misty went missing from her house in Shikarpur Chaudhary
village on Saturday, and her family filed a complaint with the Izzat Nagar
police station.
Savitri,
the aunt,'s behaviors were determined to be suspicious when she
refused to allow anybody to enter her home, according to police, who utilized
CCTV video from the vicinity.
Police
invaded her home and discovered Misty's body stashed in a bag near a borewell.
Senior
Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya stated that preliminary investigations
indicated that the murder was motivated by black magic rituals done by Savitri
and her uncle Ganga Ram, a 'tantrik'. The two, who are suspected of engaging in
occult activities, reportedly sacrificed the innocent youngster as part of
their nefarious rituals, according to the SSP. Police
have submitted the body for a post-mortem and initiated an investigation into
