New Delhi, October 21 (HS): An important meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is to be held on Monday to prepare for the organizational elections. It will be chaired by BJP President JP Nadda. The meeting will be attended by organizational level party leaders.

Preparations to be made for the election of leaders at the state level, starting from Mandal (block), district and then state presidents, will be discussed. Those attending the meeting will include officials of the Central Election Committee, State Election Officers, all national officials of BJP, state presidents and organization secretaries. Earlier this week, the party appointed BJP OBC Morcha National President Dr. K. Laxman as the National Returning Officer to conduct nationwide organizational elections. According to BJP sources, elections for state unit presidents will be completed by December.
