Darang (Assam), 1 October (HS): Orang National Park and Tiger Project has been officially opened for tourists from Tuesday. Orang National Park-Tiger Project has been opened for the year 2024-25.

The park was beautifully decorated before opening. Spread over 280 square kilometers, the park currently has about 28 tigers and about 125 rhinos. The park also has full potential to attract tourists. It is full of different types of animals and birds. The park has been formally inaugurated by Darang Wildlife Authority Pradipta Barua in the presence of a large number of people and nature lovers.
