Lucknow, 23 March (HS): According to Akhilesh Yadav, President of the Samajwadi Party, while Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar granted equal rights to all classes under the constitution, the BJP government is trying to destroy the fundamental essence of the Constitution.

On the occasion of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia's birth anniversary on Thursday, the SP president stated that Lohia Park is a popular destination for socialists seeking inspiration from the socialist legend. He reiterated the Samajwadi Party's commitment to fulfilling Dr. Lohia's dreams by saving the Constitution, which will be evident in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Dr. Lohia desired that everyone benefit from the provisions made in the Constitution.

He claims that the capitalism system is growing the social divide between the haves and have-nots. “The socialist movement is important now because it unites party workers. Its impact would be felt in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections,” he claimed. Yadav stated that while the BJP-led Central and state governments have presented 17 budgets, the populace is still concerned about inflation and unemployment.

The income of the farmer did not double. Farmers of potatoes, wheat, and mustard are worrying about ruining agricultural prospects. The BJP has not aided them. Sugarcane prices were not raised by the BJP government. Sugarcane growers' dues have not been paid. The youth are unemployed. The BJP is getting rid of reservations, and the government is getting rid of government employment by privatising them, he stated. Party state president Naresh Uttam Patel and other top party leaders were in attendance.
