Abu Dhabi, 20 March (H.S.): Syrian President Bashar al-Assad made a state visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday with his wife Asma al-Assad.

The Syrian President and First Lady were received by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan upon their arrival in the capital Abu Dhabi. At the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the two discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation.
