Varanasi, 27 Dec (HS): Sampoornanand Sanskrit University's Publication Committee has nominated two Padma Bhushan Prof. Vashishtha Tripathi and Padmabhushan Prof. Devi Prasad Dwivedi. This information was given by University Registrar Rakesh Kumar on Wednesday. He informed that the Publication Committee has been reconstituted in compliance with the decision taken in the Executive Council meeting.

The Publication Committee has been reconstituted under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Bihari Lal Sharma and two Padma Bhushan members have been appointed. Vice Chancellor Prof. Bihari Lal Sharma Chairman, Dean, Shraman Vidya Faculty Member, Dean, Faculty of Modern Knowledge-Sciences, Prof. Harishankar Pandey, Acharya Prakrit and Jainagam Department, Prof. Vidya Kumari Chandra, Professor (Hindi), Department of Modern Language and Linguistics, Padmabhushan Prof. Vashishtha Tripathi, Former Professor, Department of Justice-Specialist, NITI Aayog, Varanasi, Padmabhushan Prof. Devi Prasad Dwivedi, Former Professor, Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics, No. S.V.V., Prof. Ramesh Prasad, Acharya, S.S.V.V. (Executive Council Member), Director, Research Institute have been made members. Director, Publishing Institute Convenor-Member, Finance officers and registrars have also been made members. Director Publications Institute, Dr. Padmakar Mishra said that the institute will publish rare manuscripts along with other publications. With this, the amount of knowledge hidden in manuscripts will become useful to other areas of the country.
